The concept for Confetti Cupcakes & Parties was created by Lindsay Perkins. Born and raised in Wethersfield,CT, her passion for baking was instilled at an early age as she watched her Mom bake and decorate beautiful cakes for friends and family. Her Mother is the creative genius behind the actual "Confetti Cupcake" - adding colored sprinkles into cake batter - she's been doing that for years - thanks for the great idea Mom!
Lindsay graduated With Honors from the Connecticut Culinary Institute's - Professional Pastry and Baking Program in 2005. For 6 years she worked as a Baker at Truffles Bakery & Kitchen in Farmington, CT where she baked and decorated hundreds (of thousands!) of cupcakes.
In addition to being a wife, mother, and cupcake maker for the masses, Lindsay is also a student at Manchester Community College where she is pursuing a degree in English.
Lindsay is excited to share her love of children and baking at many Confetti Cupcake Parties in 2011!
